Erdafitinib Treatment for Castration-Resistant Prostate Cancer

Study Description

This phase II trial studies the effect of erdafitinib on advanced prostate cancer patients who progressed on androgen receptor-targeting agents. Erdafitinib may control the disease by blocking the enzymes needed for cell growth. This study evaluates the efficacy, objective response rate, progression-free survival, and safety profile of erdafitinib treatment. Patients receive erdafitinib orally once daily for 21 days, followed by a 7-day break. Patients may also undergo blood and bone marrow collection for future study. This study also aims to identify biomarkers related to cancer and potential predictors of tumor response or resistance to erdafitinib.
