New Treatment for Drug Resistant Depression in Patients

Completed Phase 2 NCT03870776

Study Description

This study aims to find a new treatment for drug-resistant depression in patients who have not responded to traditional antidepressant therapies. The phase II, double-blind, randomized, placebo-controlled, multicenter trial includes 110 male or female patients aged 18 to 80 who have experienced at least two failed antidepressant treatments. The study will administer MAP4343 to those in the treatment group, with a placebo given in the control group. Patients will be recruited from psychiatric consultations at participating centers. This trial could lead to a new treatment option for those who suffer from drug-resistant depression.
