CVM-1118 for Advanced Neuroendocrine Tumors

Active, Not Recruiting Phase 2 NCT03600233

Study Description

CVM-1118 developed by TaiRx, Inc. is a new anti-cancer therapeutic with high potential for treating advanced Neuroendocrine Tumors (NETs). NETs are uncommon malignancies originating from neuroendocrine cells localized throughout the body which often result in mortality. The formation of vasculogenic mimicry (VM) has been reported in at least two types of NETs and is considered an important therapeutic target. CVM-1118 has a high potential to inhibit VM and is currently being evaluated for its efficacy in treating advanced NETs in phase 2 clinical trials.
